Bhutan Airlines has opened a seasonal group return fare on the Bangkok–Gaya route, starting from THB 15,000 per person for groups of 10 passengers and above. The fare is built for Buddhist pilgrimages to Bodh Gaya, the place where the Buddha attained enlightenment, and for temple communities travelling together from Thailand.

Flight schedule

Bhutan Airlines flies between Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) and Gaya Airport (GAY) on the Airbus A320.

  • Outbound — B3 801: departs Bangkok 08:15, arrives Gaya 11:40 (approximately 3h 25m).
  • Return — B3 802: departs Gaya 12:30, arrives Bangkok 16:00 (approximately 3h 30m).

Because the Gaya service is seasonal, dates and frequency vary through the year; we confirm the operating days for your travel window when we quote.

Baggage allowance

The standard allowance is 25 kg checked plus 7 kg carry-on in Economy and 30 kg checked plus 7 kg carry-on in Business. Pilgrimage groups often carry robes, ritual items and offerings — let us know in advance and we will advise on packing and any excess.
