Do I need a visa for Bhutan?
Arrange before you fly — not on arrival for most visitors.

- Altitude: ~2,200 m — pace day one. Temples: cover shoulders and knees. Currency: BTN (pegged to INR).

For Gaya, Kolkata, or transiting India on BKK–Paro via CCU.

- BKK departures: 3 hours before. India arrival: allow immigration time. Kolkata transit: confirm visa need.

- Sacred sites: dress modestly. Currency: INR. Gaya: seasonal — confirm dates when booking.

Cabin baggage rules
One carry-on piece per passenger. Bags must fit under the seat in front of you or in an overhead locker — not in aisles or near emergency exits.

- Liquids, gels and aerosols follow international security limits
- Excess carry-on may be checked at the gate
Liquids & personal items
Maximum 100 ml per container, packed in one re-sealable transparent bag (max 1 litre) — one bag per passenger at security. Exemptions apply for baby food, medicines and special dietary needs.
Excess & sports equipment
Contact the OMG Experience Team before travel to pre-purchase extra baggage or arrange approval for sports gear.
Lost or delayed baggage
Report missing baggage at the airport desk before leaving the arrivals hall and obtain a Property Irregularity Report (PIR).
Assistance for every journey
Request when you book — or at least 48 hours before departure.
Available from check-in through to the aircraft door. Up to two mobility aids free of charge in addition to standard baggage.
Contact OMG Experience before booking if you require supplemental oxygen or have a serious medical condition. A fitness-to-fly certificate may be required.
Advise us at booking. Medical clearance may be required for later stages — rules confirmed by the OMG Experience Team.
One infant per adult as a lap infant, or in an approved car seat with a separate seat. Child meals and UMNR services may be available — contact us for eligibility.
